Word Bend: A Fun Twist On A Classic

I must say that I have really enjoyed this new game Word Bend.  It takes the traditional word search and creates a fun new twist.  The objective is the same, in which you find the words in the puzzle listed in the word bank.  With this app you are able to link words in every direction possible. 

There is a timer and if you do not find all the words in the allotted time, you will lose a life.   You can earn more lives and more coins when you pass a level.  Speaking of which, there are over a 1,000 levels to pass.  As you pass levels and at a speedy timeframe, you can earn “boosters” to assist you with the harder levels.

One of my favorite features is the ease in which you can highlight the found words.  The colors are vibrant and beautiful, keeping you engaged and excited.  Overall, I have really enjoyed this game.  It is fun and easy to play but it also has an educational element as well.  The words are varied and help to increase your vocabulary.  I would recommend this game to anyone from high school age and beyond.
